Chinese Student Visa for Nigerians

Type X1 Visa

Letter of Admission: Students need an official admission letter from a Chinese university.
It includes your JW201 or JW202 Form - official documents stamped by the Chinese Ministry of Education. These have to be shown at the time of visa applications.
A passport with at least six months of validity remaining and blank pages for visa (Minimum of two blank pages is necessary).
Health Certificate: This consists of a health certificate, a medical examination report to be sure that the student is not ill with any infectious and contagious diseases that pose a threat to public health;
Financial Support: proof that you have enough money to pay all your tuition and living cost in china. Examples of evidence include bank statements, scholarship awards, or a financial guarantee letter.
Type X2 Visa
Students who plan to stay in China for six months or less for courses and short-term study periods will have to apply for an X2 visa instead. The requirements are very similar, but they do not normally call for a health certificate.
