MDS is an abnormal syndrome of bone marrow hyperplasia, which is currently considered to be hematopoietic dysfunction caused by abnormal hematopoietic stem cell proliferation and differentiation. Mainly manifested as a reduction in peripheral blood cells, hyperplasia of bone marrow cells, mature and childish cells with morphological abnormalities, that is, pathogenic hematopoiesis. Some patients transformed into acute leukemia after a certain period of MDS; some of them died due to infection, bleeding, or other causes. During the course of the disease, they were never converted into acute leukemia.
